Musim Kurma

Dah dekat nak Ramadhan, kurma segar makin banyak di Pasar.. mana yg elok sikit harganya BD1 untuk 1 kg (<> RM10). Kalau dah ranum sangat, 1 bekas putih polystrene tu dalam BD1 je. Tapi untuk jenis kecik dan tak berapa cantik laa. Beli sedikit je untuk jajan orang kampung. Tak boleh bawa banyak sebab aku dengan Fawwaz je balik, so kena limit barang. Travel light.. Dapat bawa badan pun dah syukur...

Anak Mithali

Sejak pemergian Yasmin Ahmad ke Rahmatullah, hampir saban hari aku baca kisahnya. Samada online paper atau sekadar forum gosip. Dan aku baru berpeluang menonton kisahnya di Majalah 3 melalui catch up TV di TV3 online. Memang sedih dan sayu... maka berjurai2lah airmata yang murah ni..

Aku tak mau bercerita kisah yang tak baik.. bukan tak pernah dengar, tapi aku lebih suka cerita yang manis sementelah orang yang dah tak ada. Tapi sejak dia tiada, memang cerita yang baik saja keluar. Itulah, apa2 pun Allah yang Maha Mengetahui... Rezekinya pergi meninggalkan dunia dalam keadaan yang disayangi ramai. Selama ni pun memang aku sentiasa ternanti-nanti iklan barunya, terutama iklan Petronas. Aku paling tak lupa iklan Tahun Baru Cina yang lepas. Kisahnya seorang anak cina tak tau makna makan besar.. rupanya dia duduk rumah anak yatim dan orang yang jemput budak tu dari sekolah ialah wanita India... sedih sangat iklan tu...!!

Aku baca dan dengar pasal ibu bapa arwah bercerita tentang kebaikan dan ketaatan arwah Yasmin.. dan buat aku terfikir tentang diri aku sendiri. Mampukah aku setaat dan sebaik itu? Jawapannya aku sendiri tau.... tapi masih belum terlambat untuk mengubah diri kita ke arah yang lebih baik terutama terhadap ibu bapa kita. Semoga esok masih ada... Dan semoga ibubapaku sentiasa dirahmati Allah dah sihat sejahtera...

Hari bosan..

Letih tanpa berbuat apa2... namanya letih jiwa. Synonimnya bosan.. entah apala aku nak merepek. Tapi kebelakangan ini aku rasa macam nak lari laju-laju sampai berpeluh! Macam dulu2 masa aku masih boleh berlari tanpa halangan.. kat taman atau tepi tasik.

- aku boring dengan network & internet yg kejap ada kejap takde ni. Mgt apartment dah bagi notis lebih seminggu nak upgrade, tapi sama jugak. Adaka patut awal2 dulu dia cakap suruh guna internet dgn berhemah & ber'limit'. Kedekut betul.. nasib baik free! (tapi SIAEC bayar tau...)

- aku boring hari2 cakap dengan dinding.. cakap dengan orang pun kadang macam di angin lalu. Lebih baik cakap dengan dinding..

- semalam cari barang agak penting utk ibu macam aku ni.. untuk anak. Tapi tak dapat sebab tak cukup masa.. dah 2 minggu cuba. Tapi selalu kalau keluar masa jadi halangan. Sudahnya keciwa tanggung sendiri..

- sejak nak balik kg nih, aku rasa macam taknak balik sini lagi... howww?

Confirmed...

Just received a message from my beloved Mr Ghazali (:D)... "DAH BOOK...8/8". Ha ha ha.. keputusan sudah dibuat & confirmed aku & Fawwaz akan pulang ke Malaysia dalam waktu terdekat ni. Lebih kurang 17 hari je.. Walau bimbang kisah semalam berulang, hati tetap berbunga2.. Macam aku cakap semalam kat fb, this break is good for me as he said.. Memang dah jadi kebiasaan sejak duduk di S'pore dulu setiap bulan balik KL. Dan kebiasaan itu nampaknya berterusan.. Itu juga therapy ku sebab duduk di perantauan ni aku tak berkawan dan tak ada masa cari kawan kecuali di alam maya. Bila balik kampung, macam 'recharging the batteries' je.. termasuk 'battery' anak aku.. Kalau situasi baik dan terkawal, aku akan balik 2 minggu dan puasa di sini (Bahrain). Kesian pulak kat hubby.. Kalau sebaliknya, tunggu je lepas raya... Memang itu rezeki dan diwaktu yg sama dugaan Allah buat ku.. so, aku terima dengan hati yg redha. Life is too short to feel otherwise! Semoga Ahmad Fawwaz semakin tenang perasaannya. Setenang air yang mengalir di kali.... dan menjadi anak yg soleh. Ameen.

M: takpelaa.... kalau sorang boleh laa.. ini....

hu huu... really, it was a hard decision. Ada orang lepaskan peluang keemasan.. Tak mampu nak fikirkan perjalanan 8 jam berdua bersama Fawwaz.. mungkin kali ni lebih baik, tapi memang tak boleh nak predict. Maknanya aku hanya akan balik raya nanti untuk seminggu saja.. seminggu umpama sehari tauu... Mujur sempat tempah baju sehelai, jaaadilah! Baju melayu Fawwaz aku berharap pada ihsan makcik je. Takpe, bolehla nanti aku buat kuih raya kat Bahrain.. mengubati hati yang lara ha ha ha!

Last week...

We drove along the byway last week and only saw dusty areas with many construction works in progress. A lot more unfinished works incl. the sea reclamation projects. I guess in 5 yr time, it should look better & more structured. There're industrial areas that remind me of Bukit Kemuning Shah Alam. We thought of looking for villages or go to the island in the middle of King Fahd causeway that links Bahrain dan Saudi Arabia. We haven't seen any dates garden yet except at the roadside.



We also had a short peek at Lulu Centre for woman robe. A shop we entered offered reasonable price of about BD45 (approx RM450) but can go as low as BD35 for a 'bling bling' robe. That's cheaper than what you can get at the City Centre that can reach more than RM1k (could be different type of materials). OK lahh.. raya boleh pakai Arabian attire.. As usual, we had hypermarket sweep at Geant and Carrefour. And one think I realised, "orang2 kat City Centre lebih cantik & vogue dari yg kat Bahrain Mall!".. ha ha! I'm still comparing prices between Geant, Carrefour and Al-Jazira and looking for better milk & diapers. So far we have tried 5 brands of diapers/culottes and rejected Pampers. This week we change the milk coz the previous one (Milupa) seems not suitable for Fawwaz as he hardly poo. Limited choice, so we try Progress Gold. Kat M'sia minum Lactogen jek.. murah tapi bagus.

Our apartment is just few metres from the sea but the scenery doesn't look good to me lahh! Serabut sikit. Bolehlah untuk bersiar2 atau jogging atau exercise... But the dust may not allow you to go for outing in the open area oftenly especially new comers like us.

Yesterday (Sat) we went to the National Museum which has been opened since 1988 on the reclamed land. It was quite interesting to learn their history, culture, wealth, etc. Based on the pictures, we noticed that Bahrainis have an indian look with darker skin. But in person, they don't really looked so. Macam kita jugak kot, ada yg kuning langsat, hitam manis, sawo matang.. ha ha!
